Teairra Mari feat. Gucci Mane & Soulja Boy – Sponsor Music Video

“Sponsor” is the second single from Teairra Mari‘s second studio album At That Point. The song was written by Balewa Muhammad and Ezekiel Lewis of The Clutch and produced by LRoc, Ezekiel Lewis, and Balewa Muhammad and features rappers Gucci Mane and Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em.

The song was released to U.S. radio stations on January 26, 2010, and has so far peaked at number 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and has yet to chart on the Hot 100. The song was released digitally on February 2nd.

According to Teairra’s Twitter page the video was shot on February 23rd in L.A. with cameos from Vanessa Simmons and more. The video premiered on Monday, 8th March. Due to his jail sentence, Gucci Mane did not appear in the video, despite having his verse being used. The music video for “Sponsor” was directed by Yolande Geralds (known for directing videos for Trey Songz and Plies).
