“Ride” is a song performed by American R&B singer, Ciara and features American rapper, Ludacris. Produced by Tricky Stewart and co-written by The-Dream and Ciara, the song will be released as the lead single from Ciara’s fourth studio album titled Basic Instinct. According to Amazon, the song will be released in the U.S. on April 27, 2010 as a digital download.
The clip was filmed in Los Angeles on March 30, 2010 with Diane Martel who helmed the video for the singer’s previous singles “Promise” (2006) and “Like a Boy” (2007), as well as her worldwide 2009 hit single “Love Sex Magic”. The clip which is 4:38 long uses an alternative edit of the song with the male disorted vocals which appear at the beginning of the song on the single edit at the end instead. Additionally there are added instruments in the video version which appear in time with the choreography.
