“Can’t Feel My Face” is the second music video and promotional single from The Weeknd‘s upcoming second studio album, Chapter III.
The music video premiered July 28th 2015 on Apple Music Connect.
It follows after The Weeknd’s widely successful single “Earned It” off the Fifty Shades of Gray soundtrack, and after his lead hit-single “The Hills“.
- In the Grant Singer-directed clip (“The Hills”), which premiered on Apple Music Connect, The Weeknd performs on stage at a dimly-lit club. Initially people are sitting down, unmoved by his Michael Jackson-esque moves. However, they start to perk up as he slides across the stage. Eventually someone throws a lighter at him and he bursts into flames, and a crowd joins him on stage. He leaves the club, emerging triumphant—a star is born. [Source: Rap-Up]
