“Bum Bum” is the lead single and music video, from American recording artist, songwriter and dancer Kat DeLuna‘s upcoming third studio album, Viva Out Loud.
The track features American R&B singer-songwriter Trey Songz. “Bum Bum” represents a major change of pace for the club queen with its slow, tropical beats and explicit Trey Songz feature.
The opening line of the song has DeLuna singing “If you wanna love me, you gotta do it right,” over slinky horns. “‘Cause every queen needs a king that wants her body all day and night.”
The music video premiered on June 16th 2015, via Kat DeLuna’s official YouTube VEVO channel.
The song contains a sample of “Bam Bam” by Jamaican dancehall recording artist Sister Nancy and a lyrical interpretation of “It Wasn’t Me” by Jamaican-American reggae recording artist Shaggy.
Kat DeLuna cranks up the heat in the voyeuristic video for “Bum Bum.” The Dominican seductress shows off her body of work for the camcorder in the steamy NSFW scenes. She goes completely nude (save for a hat and heels) while smoking a cigarette and hits the shower soaking wet, while Trey Songz—who does not actually appear in the clip—films on the “Trey Cam.” Kat continues to display her ample assets while dancing in a thong and a leotard.
“Bum Bum” is the lead single off Kat’s first album since 2010’s Inside Out, due later this year.
