“Alive” is the lead promotional single from Australian singer, songwriter and recording artist Sia‘s forthcoming seventh studio album, This Is Acting.
The single was co-written by Sia, Adele, and Tobias Jesso Jr. and produced by Jesse Shatkin.
In September 2015, Sia confirmed that This Is Acting‘s lead single “Alive” would be released later that month and was originally written for Adele. The British singer and songwriter co-wrote, but “rejected“, the song at the last minute.
The song was officially released September 24th 2015 via Sia’s official YouTube VEVO channel.
