“S&M” is the third single by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna, taken from her fifth studio album, Loud.

The Remix features American singer Britney Spears. The remix premiered in early-mid April 2011.

On April 11, 2011, Rihanna announced a new remix of S&M featuring a reworked introduction, chorus, 2nd verse and middle eight by Britney Spears. The track debuted less than 24 hours on z100 New York after she teased her Twitter followers that she had “a sexy collabo comin’ your way supa dupa soon … it’s Britney bitch!!!” Britney then responded to Rihanna via her Twitter account, writing, “You’re such a tease! I like it, like it …”

It was released as the fourth single from the album on January 21, 2011, through Def Jam Recordings. It was written by Mikkel S. Eriksen, Tor Erik Hermansen, Sandy Wilhelm, Corey Jackson Carter, and Ester Dean, and produced by Stargate and Sandy Vee. Musically, the song derives genres from eurodance, electro and dance-pop. The lyrics of the song sees Rihanna declaring her pleasures.
