“The Night Is Still Young” is the sixth promotional single from Trinidadian-born American recording artist Nicki Minaj‘s third studio album, The Pinkprint.
Minaj’s boyfriend Meek Mill makes a cameo appearance in the video.
The music video premiered in late May 2015, on Nicki Minaj’s official YouTube VEVO channel. The music video was shot in Downtown Los Angeles, California in March 2015. Pictures emerged with Minaj and dancer Caspar Smart, featuring Minaj in a black dress and walking down a street.
The song was written by Minaj, Ester Dean, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald, Donnie Lewis, Theron Thomas and Henry Walter, with additional production by Gottwald and Cirkut. It is a dance-pop song about partying and having fun.
