“Prom Queen” is the first official single off Lil’ Wayne‘s upcoming rock album, Rebirth. The track was produced by Infamous and Drew Correa. The song is his debut rock single. In the song he uses the Auto-Tune effect.
The premise of the song is based on what seems like a traditional high-school love story, where the protagonist is in love with the popular, beautiful prom queen, but she is into guys who are jocks and “varsity” that don’t seem to treat her right.
