“Dont Wanna Go Home” is the lead first single from American singer-songwriter, actor and dancer Jason Derulo‘s upcoming second studio album, Future History.

The beat is taken from the 90’s dance classic “Show Me Love” by Robin S., while some of the lyrics sample the infamous “Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)” by Harry Belafonte. “We say day-o, daylight come and we don’t wanna go home,” Jason sings on the chorus.

You may also remember the song around the dinner table with them being taken over by spirits while singing the “Day-O (Banana Boat Song) from the 80s classic Beetlejuice.

The track was produced by The Fliptones and it premiered in early May 2011.
