Following the announcement that “Dance Like We’re Making Love” would serve as the album’s second single, “Give Me Love” was published by the label as the next single from the album. “Give Me Love” was sent to US urban contemporary radio on June 9, 2015, as the album’s official second single.
This album marks her first release following the birth of her first child.
