“The Lazy Song” is the third official single from American singer-songwriter and producer Bruno Mars‘ debut studio album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans.
Mars wrote the song with K’naan and his production team The Smeezingtons, who also produced the track. It was released as an alternate version to the original “The Lazy Song” music video.
The official Alternate second music video Version of “The Lazy Song” premiered on ElektraRecords‘ official YouTube channel in late May 2011.
Bruno Mars danced with monkeys in his living room in the original video for “The Lazy Song,” and now he hands over the reigns to Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock in the original “Star Trek” series.
The 80-year-old actor walks around town in his robe, drinks beer during the day, and almost gets hit by a car in the comedic visuals. Kick back and laugh out loud with the alternate version. [Via Rap-Up]
