“Countdown” is the third promotional music video and single from American R&B singer Beyonce‘s fourth studio album titled, 4.

The music video with the ‘Banger of a Track‘ premiered on Beyonce’s official YouTube VEVO channel in early October 2011.

The music video was being directed by Adria Petty, who previously directed the music video for “Sweet Dreams“. Knowles was also a director for the music video along with Petty

The song was written by Terius Nash (The-Dream), Shea Taylor, Knowles, Ester Dean, Cainon Lamb, Julie Frost, Michael Bivins, Nathan Morris and Wanya Morris.
