Born in the U.S., Aaron Hinton-Marshall (aka Aaron Fresh) wanted to sing by age seven; at eight when he was sent to live with his grandmother in Port-Au-Spain, the tiny capitol city of the republic of Trinidad and Tobago. At a crucial time in his development, he gained a sincere appreciation for reggae, dub and calypso music, especially inspired by Jamaican stars Buju Banton and Sizzla. In middle school, Aaron started entering talent shows and trying out for agencies. “Any opportunity where I could showcase my talent,” he says, “I was there.”

whoever wrotee dis needs to write it over because it is not reggae or a jamaican beat he i singing to it is called soca ! Soca is from Trinidad not Jamaica. Aaron Fresh did not listen to reggae when he was growing up. He was listening to soca artists like Machel Montano and Sparrow. You can look them up on Youtbe and in search engines. Soca sounds soo much better than reggae, but it just hasnt got its recognition it is suppose to because many people think reggae is the only caribbean genre and it IS NOT ! That is what Aaron Fresh, Nicki Minaj and other artists are tryin to do. If you noticed in Aaron Fresh and Nicki Minaj’s. songs they mention Trinidad alot. Please do the same and bring soca to the light ! It can b the new music everyone will love . Look it Up !!
luv him my dad met him when he first started im also trinidadian !!!!!!!
