Nelly – Just A Dream

“Just A Dream” is the second single from American rapper Nelly‘s upcoming sixth studio album 5.0. It will be serviced to Mainstream/Top 40 radio and for North American digital downloads on August 17, 2010. The first single from the album “Tippin’ in da Club“, is set to also be released on August 17, 2010.

The song was written by Nelly, Rico Love, and Frank Romano and produced by Jim Jonsin.

Nelly announced that the album would be titled, 5.0. The title was inspired by his 2011 Ford Mustang, which also will be on the album artwork. Nelly’s tricked-out Mustang GT came to life after the artist caught a glimpse of the vehicle while inside the walls of Ford’s design studio a little more than a year ago as part of a partnership tied to the launch of the 2009 Ford Flex.

Since then, Nelly has collaborated with Ford’s design team and DUB’s customization team to make the Mustang his own while still keeping the vehicle true to its muscle car roots, “It’s a lot of things. It’s also my fifth drop date. It’s just the energy of it all, ‘5.0’ was always one of my dream cars.”
