Discipline is the tenth studio album from American pop/R&B singer Janet Jackson, released on February 26, 2008 by Island Records in the US. Jackson has been working with producers such as Rodney Jerkins (who produced the lead single, D’Mile), Jermaine Dupri, Ne-Yo, Shea Taylor, Stargate, Johnta Austin, Tricky Stewart and The-Dream.
The first single confirmed is “Independent” which features Lil Boosie and Lil Phat, the second single confirmed is “I Miss You“, a kind of ballad that contains samples of Diana Ross song “Missing You“.
New Amerykah Part One (4th World War) is the fourth full length album from Erykah Badu.
It was released on February 26, 2008 through Universal/Motown Records.
In reference to the prior provisional title, Kabbah, Badu says that that name was never final and that she prefers to wait and title her albums once they’re finished.
“In and Out of Love” Is the title of R&B singer, Cheri Dennis’ highly anticipated debut album. It was exclusively released through iTunes on November 13, 2007. It is to be released through all retailers on February 26, 2008. Singles include, “I Love You” and “Portrait Of Love”.
Cheri Dennis was born in 1980 in the Edenwald projects of Cleveland, Ohio. She grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio and was initially a member of a group named Spoiled. When the group broke up, Dennis left Shaker Heights and moved to New York where she began her recording career.
Wright was born in the small town of Hahira, Georgia, one of three children and the daughter of a minister. She started singing gospel music and playing piano in church as a child, and also became interested in jazz and blues.
