“Kisses For Breakfast” is the debut and lead promotional single from British reggae and pop singer Melissa Steel‘s upcoming studio album.
The track features artist Popcaan, it was Produced By: Wundah. The music video premiered in early June 2014 on Melissa Steel’s official YouTube VEVO channel.
She is best known for featuring on Kove’s 2014 single “Way We Are”, the song peaked to number thirty on the UK Singles Chart and her debut single “Kisses for Breakfast”, featuring Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan, which peaked at number ten on the same chart.
The music video was shot on Hellshire Beach in Portmore, St. Catherine. Talking about the video, Steel said that that was because the song had “a summer, island feel to it”. 4Music commented that the song was a “wish-you-were-here” video. 4Music called the song’s vibes “tropical” and a “breakfast treat”. Singersroom.com called the song “a summer banger”, “undeniable catchy and flows like a summer breeze”.
